War on the Shore 2025 - January 9-10, 2026
Roland E. Powell Convention Center OC, MD - 40th street.


​Coaches information – please read carefully as we have made some changes. 

Each 
Varsity 
Boys Team will receive 3 lanyards for coach's chairs (floor access) and coaches room access.  Teams entering a JV boys' team will receive a 4th lanyard / coaches pass. Only coaches at team check-in can receive their lanyards!  We can put names on the other lanyards and leave them at the admission gate.  
Girls' teams
 will receive 2 lanyards for a full team and 1 lanyard for a ½ team.  Girls' lanyards cannot be picked up until 11 am Saturday. Additional lanyards can be purchased at team check-in for $60 a piece up to 2 more per team. 

Each team will be given a 10x10 pipe and draped section with a table and 2 chairs to store 
additional team needs – NOT inside of the main wrestling arena but in a side hall.
 

TIMELINE 
Boys – WEDNESDAY – 4 PM LINEUPS IN, THURSDAY 3PM – LAST CALL TO REPLACE A WRESTLER, THURSDAY 6PM – SEEDING MEETING AT SDHS – ALL INVITED. THURSDAY 3PM – FRIDAY START = SCRATCHESS ONLY.  TOP 8 SEEDS RELEASED DURING MEETING ON FACEBOOK PAGE – WAR ON THE SHORE. JV lineups and girls by Friday 3 pm.

NO
 outside food or drink allowed into the Convention Center.
 

We will have dinner for coaches on Friday and Saturday 5-7 pm as well as coffee and light breakfast Saturday morning 730-930 am.
  Lunch – I have some pizza passes for Dough Roller next door as well for each team.  Girls teams will have access to dinner Saturday night only.
 

IF
 you are bringing your JV or girls Friday – You must bring them to weigh ins to get admission.  After weigh ins – JV and girls will have to pay OR not come Friday. This only applies to teams entering a JV team.
 

We will have trainers – but please be prepared with tape / gauze/ nose plugs, etc.
 

There will be 
5 refillable water stations around the venue to fill water bottles – so have wrestlers bring a refillable container.
 

Besides your 
cubby, each team will have approximately 15 seats in the bleachers for their fans.  Other seating will be on the floor – Do not put bags on the seats.
 

Wrestlers / coaches / fans – will only be allowed to enter the wrestling arena with 1 bag total. No chairs, carts, blankets, 
etc – all that must be left in your teams cubby area.
 

JV 
dual teams will weigh in this year – 730 Saturday morning – 830 start time. Top 2 teams get trophies and 20 medals each – JV teams can only weigh in 20 kids maximum – 
No exhibition matches this year. Varsity participants can in NO WAY wrestle in the jv duals. 

Admission this year is $30 per day or $40 for a weekend pass
- kids 12 and under free.
 
 
Tournament hoodies and t-shirts will be available and will accept credit cards.

Please solidify your hotel reservations ASAP - all hotels are great and close by.
